Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Construction Front End Planning, this role translates leadership priorities into actionable plans, builds cross-functional alignment, and drives implementation. The role also establishes Construction-focused portfolio visibility from project pipeline through execution, working with Delivery TPMs and functional owners to address reporting gaps and surface issues requiring leadership action.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic initiatives. Translate leadership direction into defined outcomes, workplans, owners, and milestones. Engage stakeholders, resolve dependencies, and drive initiatives through implementation and adoption.

  • Build practical processes. Lead the development and rollout of processes such as portfolio intake, preconstruction management, construction-ready handoff, and lessons learned. Work with functional leaders to establish responsibilities and secure agreement on how these processes operate.

  • Define Construction’s portfolio reporting needs. Assess existing tracking with Construction leadership and Delivery TPMs. Identify gaps, clarify responsibilities, and establish the level of visibility needed to support Construction’s pipeline and portfolio decisions.

  • Oversee portfolio reporting support. Direct the work of contingent resources maintaining portfolio information and reporting. Establish expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through, using inputs from accountable project and functional owners.

  • Drive resolution and escalation. Evaluate portfolio information to identify risks, dependencies, and unresolved issues. Work with responsible owners to drive resolution and escalate matters requiring leadership decisions with clear recommendations.

  • Run executive portfolio reviews. Establish a focused review cadence that highlights material changes, risks, decisions, and commitments. Prepare concise leadership materials and track resulting actions through completion.

  • Implement readiness and handoff discipline. Coordinate the definition and adoption of construction-ready handoff criteria. Verify evidence with accountable owners, enforce agreed review requirements, and escalate unresolved conditions through established decision channels.

  • Translate lessons into improvements. Establish a feedback process with Construction Delivery to identify recurring gaps and incorporate lessons into planning processes and readiness requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering complex programs or cross-functional initiatives in data center construction, infrastructure development, engineering, or a comparable environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn broad direction into a structured plan and drive work through implementation.

  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

  • Experience developing processes, portfolio reporting, executive communications, and decision recommendations.

  • Ability to interpret project information, identify material issues, and drive resolution with accountable owners.

  • Experience coordinating supporting resources and maintaining clear accountability for deliverables.
