Full job description

The County of Blair is searching for the next Community Development Grants Coordinator within the Social Services Office. Incumbent will develop and manages grant projects and policies. The incumbent with also provide a variety of support services through work with community corporations, private non-profit organizations, local/state/federal agencies to develop and maintain community development programs and projects to assure compliance with governmental requirements.

Essential duties include administers the following county grant programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Pennsylvania Housing Affordability or Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) funds; lead hazard prevention grant.

Supervises, trains, and evaluates assigned staff.

Requirements

Qualified applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, planning, public administration, or related field OR have equivalent combination of education or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in grant writing, administration of grants, contract and budget monitoring.
