Your Contributions to the Team:
This entry-level position is the starting point for career progression within the Production team at GloryBee! We are seeking a "new-bee" to join our Production team and assist with our food processing and packaging of our quality, food ingredients such as: honey, oils, and liquid sweeteners. As a Pump and Load Specialist, you'll work at our Production Facility located at 1680 Irving Road Eugene OR. A typical work week for the Production team is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - SOME OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED.
Typical tasks include:

Stage honey loads for appropriate heat rooms

Load honey into the heat rooms

Pump honey from the heat rooms into holding tanks

Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) requirements and safety procedures.

Operates production equipment as needed safely and efficiently (fillers, scales, pumps)

Follows GloryBee Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) requirements

Accurately completes required paperwork for work orders

Follows sustainable practices outlined by department leadership

Recycles and composts correctly in the appropriate containers

Communicates innovative ideas that increase efficiency, saves resources or lessens environmental impact

Embraces and participates in department Lean initiatives
What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma or the equivalent
-
1 year of production experience
-
Material handling experience a plus
-
Ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools

Basic math and writing skills
-
Basic computer skills
-
Positive attitude and a team player

Dependability and punctuality
-
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Ability to become forklift certified
