Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Desmond T Doss Health Clinic, located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

  • Serve as the lead Operations officer, responsible to plan and execute medical operations for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the overall operations of Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) functions to include coordination with both active and reserve components.
  • Prepare, coordinate, execute, and review plans for emergency management operations, including the MTF Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
  • Provide daily oversight of personnel assigned to support Plans, training, mobilization and security operations division programs and activities.
  • Serve as the MTF Liaison Officer (LNO) to all tenant units and agencies. Represent the MTF at all planning meetings, committees and Command updates with supported units.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning and executing medical readiness operations; participating in emergency operations planning, exercises, and crisis response within a healthcare facility; and monitoring operational taskers and staff workflows. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-11).

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
