What We’re Looking For The Restaurant Busperson supports efficient service by maintaining clean, organized dining spaces and assisting servers throughout the guest experience. This role contributes to a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for from start to finish.
Who You Are
- Friendly, courteous, and eager to assist guests and team members
- Efficient and dependable in fast-paced, high-volume settings
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Detail-focused with a commitment to clean, well-maintained dining areas
- Organized and proactive in anticipating service needs
- Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply
What You Will Do
- Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly
- Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and menus
- Support servers by delivering food, beverages, condiments, and guest requests
- Refill water and beverages as needed to enhance service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, floors, service stations, and tray stands
- Remove trash and keep waste areas tidy and sanitary
- Respond to spills promptly to ensure guest and staff safety
- Stock service areas with silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments
- Assist with restocking items needed during service
- Help prepare dining areas for the next shift or meal period
- Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include: Required:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, dishes, and supplies
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
