Location: Hyattsville, MD Lanham, MD Waldorf, MD

Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hour

Work Environment

Onsite position supporting fleet operations across multiple Maryland locations. This role works directly with vehicle fleets, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure vehicles remain operational, properly maintained, and available to support business needs.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Standard business hours

• Potential local travel between fleet locations as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $23.00-$26.00/hour

Duration: 9-Month Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee daily fleet activities and provide exceptional client support. This individual will be responsible for vehicle readiness, vendor coordination, fleet maintenance scheduling, inspections, reporting, and process improvement initiatives designed to maximize fleet performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned fleet vehicles and daily operational activities

• Conduct pre-service and post-service vehicle inspections

• Coordinate vehicle cleaning, detailing, and refueling

• Schedule repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors

• Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation

• Build strong relationships with customers, drivers, and vendors

• Support account management and customer service initiatives

• Monitor fleet utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with operational standards

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve fleet efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• Fleet management, transportation, logistics, or vehicle rental experience

• Strong customer service and client support skills

• Experience coordinating vendors and service providers

• Microsoft Excel and data entry experience

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
