Full job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the FAST siteIndustrial Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating oncritical projects relating to our site productivity & lean operations, aswell ensuring site designs for safety.

You will provide inputrelating to logistics process and layout optimization opportunities, as well asdata-driven continuous improvement efforts.

This involves analyzingcurrent workflows, designing new, more efficient layouts, and managing theimplementation of these changes from planning to completion.

How You’ll Make anImpact

  • Analyze current warehouse workflows, material handlingprocesses, and space utilization to identify bottlenecks and areas forimprovement.

  • Design and develop optimized logistics center layoutsusing CAD software to improve operational flow, storage density, andsupport growth.

  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation,including value stream maps and process flow diagrams, for current andfuture state operations.

  • Work with our EHS team in support of ergonomic studiesto ensure designed workflows are safe, efficient, and minimize physicalstrain on personnel.

  • Manage optimization projects independently fromconception through implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines andbudgets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingOperations, Facilities, and IT to ensure seamless execution of layoutchanges and new process introductions.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, supportdata-driven decision-making, and uncover new optimization opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, MechanicalEngineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years working in a Logistics Center orsimilar high volume environment

  • Strong communication & decision making skills

  • Strong budgeting and analytical skills

  • LeanSix Sigma certification a plus

  • Experience in Power BI, Alteryx and Data analytics a plus
