Job Summary This position is key to a maintain a successful partnership between Promise Health Plan and their key account(s). Handles day-to-day customer service issues and will help track issues and document them to resolution as well as identify opportunities for improvement in products and services.

Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

  • Responsible for day-to-day account management of large employer insured population(s).

  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients, vendors and partners to ensure smooth administration.

  • Handles customer service requests promptly, including researching complex issues, tracking issues and documenting resolution.

  • Develops and analyzes reporting and provides to client’s HR team at requested cadence.

  • Supports external bid process when client requests to shop any lines of coverage.

  • Provides prospect and client feedback about potential new product development.

  • Completes special client requests or projects, as directed.

  • Recommends process improvements, procedural changes, or other actions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree. Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or Business preferred.

  • Experience - Five (5) years of account management in a health insurance company role.

In Lieu Of In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, an equivalent combination of work/academic experience may be considered.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses Accident and Health Insurance License (Required within 90 days of start date)

  • Interpersonal / team skills

  • Mathematical skills

  • Knowledge of provider sponsored health plan, integrated delivery and financing systems, progressive value-based downside financial risk arrangements preferred
