Solution Architect - AWS/AI

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Solution Architect to define the future-state architecture for our customer. This individual will provide technical direction across web applications, shared services, and API layers while helping reduce dependency on external partners.The primary responsibility is to evaluate architectural approaches, create future-state designs, produce architecture diagrams, and establish standards that engineering teams will follow. This role will focus heavily on cloud-native web application architecture within AWS. Agentic AI experience is a key differentiator. Candidates should be able to clearly articulate how they have leveraged tools such as Copilot, Claude, Bedrock, or other AI-assisted workflows to improve design, delivery, or productivity. estimated pay 60-70/hour

Skills and Requirements

Requirements o Solution Architecture experience focused on web applications and cloud environments o Strong AWS architecture experience (non-negotiable) o Experience architecting custom-built enterprise web applications o Experience designing shared APIs and cross-application services o Experience with JavaScript-based application ecosystems o Demonstrated use of Agentic tooling

• Need to have examples of how they've implemented an agentic workflow into their work. The two biggest non-negotiables are: o Strong AWS Architecture experience o Concrete examples of using AI/Agentic tooling in their work Pluses o React o Micro-frontend architecture o Data processing experience
