Full job description

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aQuality Auditor to join a leading Company located in theAiken, SCsurrounding area.

US Citizenship is required.

Seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift . In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations. Note: Position supports Second, Weekend Shift.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or the equivalent , and one year of related work experience.

  • Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages , etc.

  • Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.

  • Able to support Second and weekend shifts.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) experience.

  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.

  • Weld inspection knowledge/experience.

  • Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
