The Project Manager facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. This role requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $100K and $2.5M.

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction

  • Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps

  • Guide technical or administrative staff

  • Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs

  • Contribute to continuous improvement plan

  • Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships

  • Be responsible for several small projects

  • Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs

  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.

  • Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews

  • Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors

  • Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.

  • Track resources and projects progress

  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency

  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities

  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager

  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation

  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development

  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation

  • Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements

  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry

  • 1+ years of experience managing projects

  • NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred

  • Knowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree

  • 3+ years of technical experience in the fire and life safety industry

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
