About the Position: This position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with the Directorate of Strategic Management. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a Temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Duties

• Provide technical support for sustainment operation in a constrained environment.
• Develop repair plans for mechanical equipment to support operations.
• Assess partner worksite needs to define equipment, facility, and training requirements.
• Build partner competency through structured knowledge transfer tied to sustainment standards.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-9). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering Project Management Teaching Others Technical Documentation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
