Project Manager - Data Center

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

This individual will serve as a key member of the project team and be responsible for managing construction and design objectives from project development through completion. The Project Manager will work closely with owners, contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day field activities, managing contractor performance, coordinating project schedules, monitoring project budgets, reviewing contracts and bid packages, facilitating project meetings, supporting construction logistics, and driving project execution throughout the construction lifecycle. This person will also help manage project risks, change management activities, QA/QC processes, safety initiatives, and overall stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate will have a strong construction management background, experience leading complex construction projects, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, owner-focused environment. Candidates with data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial construction experience are highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of construction management or project management experience supporting large-scale data center construction projects
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Strong understanding of construction execution, contractor management, project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project delivery
• Experience acting as an Owner's Representative, Construction Manager, General Contractor PM, or similar project leadership role
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders including owners, contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and trade partners
• Very strong Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) construction experience
• Experience reviewing construction documents, trade contracts, bid packages, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Experience participating in OAC meetings, progress meetings, pre-construction meetings, and project planning sessions
• Strong QA/QC, safety, and field inspection experience
• Microsoft, Meta, Google, AWS, Oracle, Compass, Vantage, Switch, QTS, EdgeCore, Aligned, or other hyperscale data center experience
• Mission-critical facility construction experience
