Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform & AI Automation SME in Costa Rica to assess, optimize, and govern enterprise automation solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and AI technologies, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and business-driven automation frameworks.
Responsibilities

Assess, reverse engineer, document, and optimize existing Power Platform solutions and automation workflows.

Partner with business, IT, and security teams to align automation solutions with enterprise standards and best practices.

Establish and maintain Power Platform governance, including environments, connectors, licensing, security, deployments, and service accounts.

Design and manage service account strategies, including ownership, monitoring, security controls, and audit reporting.
-
Implement centralized monitoring, reporting, and alerting for Power Automate solutions, focusing on flow health, adoption, and business value metrics.
-
Design scalable, configuration-driven automation frameworks using Dataverse, Smartsheet, or similar technologies.
-
Build reusable automation components, child flows, and standardized development patterns.

Develop administrative applications and dashboards to support self-service configuration management and reporting.

Identify and implement AI-driven business process improvements using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, OpenAI, Claude, and other LLM technologies.

Establish governance and best practices for AI-powered automations, agents, and prompt-based solutions.

Create architecture documentation, operational procedures, and support standards.
Drive automation modernization efforts and help mature the organization's overall automation strategy.

Strong understanding of identity management, security controls, and service account administration.

Experience creating monitoring, operational reporting, and automation health dashboards.

Experience integrating AI capabilities into business applications and workflows.

Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility.

Experience building custom AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
