Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst for a top government and defense technology client. This candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and helping remediate security vulnerabilities across enterprise systems and networks. The ideal individual will leverage vulnerability management tools, conduct detailed risk assessments, and collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to strengthen the organization's security posture. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with experience in vulnerability assessment, compliance frameworks, and risk-based remediation who enjoys working in a mission-focused environment supporting critical programs.

Compensation: $50/hr to 62/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Active TSSCI and ability to obtain a CI Poly Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related IT security experience; additional experience, education, or training may be considered in lieu of degree. DoDD 8140 compliant certification, at minimum IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE), at start. Experience conducting activities associated with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) Experience with creating Information Assurance documentation such as Security Control Traceability Metrics (SCTM), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Assessment Report (SAR) and maintaining POA&Ms (Plans of Action and Milestones). Experience with ACAS and SEIM tools. Experience with application and hardware security settings for vendor best business practices. TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preferred. Experience with ACAS, SPLUNK, ACT (cybersecurity event), IAVA reporting, and eMASS. Familiarity with vulnerability management across enterprise applications and infrastructure (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, virtualization platforms, Windows, Red Hat). Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts as they apply to secure cloud migrations.
