We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Planner to drive maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing detailed maintenance work plans, coordinating resources, managing CMMS activities, and improving equipment reliability while supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Create detailed job plans including labor, materials, tooling, permits, and safety requirements.
Manage work orders, PM programs, maintenance history, and KPIs within the CMMS.
Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and contractors.
Ensure parts, materials, and resources are available before scheduled work.
Analyze maintenance data, downtime trends, and equipment performance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Lead maintenance scheduling meetings and drive schedule compliance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, RCFA, and reliability best practices.
Promote compliance with OSHA, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience planning, scheduling, or coordinating maintenance activities.
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Proficiency with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, or similar).
Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
2+ years of maintenance planning or maintenance leadership experience.
SAP PM or Maximo experience.
CMRP, CRL, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certifications.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Ideal Candidate
A proactive maintenance professional who excels at planning and coordination, possesses strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, communicates effectively across departments, and drives equipment reliability through data-driven maintenance strategies.
Success Metrics
Maintain 90%+ schedule compliance.
Achieve 95%+ PM completion rate.
Increase planned maintenance work to 80%+ of total maintenance hours.
Reduce emergency breakdown work orders.
Improve equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Maintain accurate CMMS records and backlog management.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
