Description

Join a highly skilled imaging team where advanced technology, clinical expertise, and compassionate care come together. This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality PET, PET/CT, and CT diagnostic services while ensuring an exceptional patient experience and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT, and CT examinations.

  • Operate a multi‑slice CT scanner and power injector with proficiency and attention to detail.

  • Start IVs and administer various contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals at the direction of the physician.

  • Provide patient care services as needed in a professional, compassionate manner.

  • Participate in all daily duties necessary to perform high‑quality care and imaging exams.

  • Deliver exemplary customer service in all patient and team interactions.

  • Engage fully in a collaborative team framework while maintaining a positive approach and attitude.

  • Assume responsibility for designated duties or procedures as required and adhere to all safety standards in accordance with SMC policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program

  • Washington Radiologic Technologist License upon hire

  • Upon Hire:

  • National Positron Emission Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--

  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology --or--

  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--

  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--

  • National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
