Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Inventory Control Associate.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ​

Pay starts at $22 but could be more based on experience

A Rental Inventory Control Assistant for Ferguson is responsible for rental sales & operations planning. General areas of responsibility include coordination and collaboration with our sales team, intermediaries, and internal customers. Coordinating rental repairs and unit delivery needs with customers and sales to create a cohesive and high-performing business model.

  • Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set procedures.
  • Problem solving:
  • Problems and issues faced are routine and solutions are clear. Follows a well-established and familiar set of job activities and/or job processes to solve a problem.
  • Job duties:
  • Completes advanced duties associated with rental fleet inventory management on a day-to-day basis via Power BI based monitoring.
  • Delivers rental inventory support to specific regions, may align with specific types of business and/or customers.
  • Completes complex or new tasks, and assists sales team with own technical knowledge.
  • Has a mechanical sense to repair and upkeep rental fleet.
  • Works closely with various departments such as field sales, Category Management, customers, and our blended partners.
  • Provides applicable inventory control measures to ensure our rental fleet is monitored and working correctly
  • Works through Outlook, Teams, Excel & other various platforms to solution and communicate solutions for our external customers.
  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.

  • Qualifications and requirement
  • Prior experience:
  • 1+ Years Sales experience preferred. Applies basic job knowledge of systems and procedures that are relevant to own job.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • HDPE & McElroy knowledge preferred

  • Inventory Management for Rental Fleet
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting
  • Teamwork, Problem Solving and Detail-Oriented
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Power BI, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Etc.).
  • Ability to effectively utilize FEL’s inventory and logistics system (Trilogie)
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $35.54 -

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
