Job Summary

Join Our Team

As a Food Service Worker, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience by supporting meal preparation, serving customers, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.

What You’ll Do

Assist cooks with daily meal preparation, including cutting, peeling, slicing, salads, desserts, and plating.

Take customer orders, accommodate special requests, and serve meals promptly and accurately.

Provide friendly, attentive customer service, answer questions, address concerns, and make menu suggestions.

Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas by clearing tables, washing dishes, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces.

Wash pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen equipment while following proper sanitation practices.

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure food is prepared and served safely.

Work collaboratively with cooks and other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Education Some High School Completed required

Experience experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of role 0-1 year required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Knowledge of food service lines set-up and temperature requirements.
  • Skill in cooking and preparing a variety of foods.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
