Overview Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. Responsibilities Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. Qualifications Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology, or a related field Required or

  • In Lieu of degree related military service Required or

  • In Lieu of degree three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required

Work Experience

  • 2 years Two (2) years of demonstrated experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on the following: General X-Ray, R&F room, C-Arms, Portables. Required or

  • In lieu of degree Five (5) years of relevant experience (see above) Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging Required

  • Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) Preferred
