Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Bulldozer Operator to support a large-scale roadway and civil construction project at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin. This individual will be responsible for operating GPS-enabled bulldozers to perform earthmoving, grading, site preparation, and roadway construction activities while maintaining strict adherence to design specifications and project tolerances. The ideal candidate has experience utilizing machine control technology (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or similar systems) and can accurately cut and fill to grade without traditional staking. This is a fully on-site opportunity requiring 5, 8–10-hour shifts daily.
Day to day responsibilities

Operate GPS-equipped bulldozers safely and efficiently on heavy civil construction projects

Perform rough and finish grading for roadways, embankments, building pads, and site development

Utilize GPS machine control systems to achieve project elevations and design grades

Read and interpret grading plans, site plans, utility plans, and construction drawings

Cut, spread, and move earth to support excavation, roadway, and drainage construction activities

Work closely with survey crews, superintendents, and project managers to maintain grade accuracy

Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance

Maintain production goals while ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Follow all OSHA, USACE, and company safety regulations

Skills and Requirements

3+ years’ experience operating dozers on heavy civil, roadway, or earthwork projects

Experience operating GPS machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or equivalent)

Ability to perform both rough and finish grading

Knowledge of grade stakes, elevations, slopes, and earthmoving principles

Ability to pass a drug screen and background check • Experience working on federal construction projects

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
