  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education

  • High school diploma or GED required. Must be licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician before the onset of duties.

  • Experience

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and ability to work in stressful environments is essential. The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks is also desired. Experience in the community pharmacy environment or other healthcare field is preferred.

  • Physical

  • This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.

  • Work is conducted in a normal hospital environment, and involves close eye work and hearing within normal range. Operations will be performed on the computer and multiple other types of technology. Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds of weight is possible. Pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds may be encountered. Expect frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
