Agent in Training | Farmers Insurance | Eric Uzeta Agency Long Beach, CA Put Your Sales and People Skills to Work If you’re bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoy connecting with people, and want a career where you can continue growing, the Eric Uzeta Agency is looking for an Agent in Training to join our Long Beach team. This is a client-focused sales opportunity where you’ll learn the insurance business while helping individuals and families understand their options and protect what matters to them. You’ll receive training and coaching as you develop your sales skills, insurance knowledge, and ability to build lasting client relationships. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position. What You'll Be Doing As an Agent in Training, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with clients and learning how a successful insurance agency operates. Your responsibilities will include:

Connecting with prospective clients through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and community outreach

Speaking with both English and Spanish-speaking clients to understand their insurance needs

Preparing quotes and explaining coverage options in a clear, approachable way

Selling and cross-selling Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other insurance products

Following up with prospective customers and identifying additional sales opportunities

Developing long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and policy reviews

Working toward individual sales goals and contributing to overall agency growth

Keeping leads, follow-ups, and client activity organized through CRM tools
-
Participating in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training
What We're Looking For Insurance experience is a plus, but it isn't the only background that can prepare you for this role. We're looking for someone who is confident working with people, motivated by goals, and ready to learn.

Bilingual in English and Spanish required

1+ year of sales, customer service, insurance, retail, hospitality, banking, or another client-facing role preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Comfortable making outbound calls and starting conversations with new people

Motivated to work toward measurable sales goals

Able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude

Coachable and receptive to feedback

Organized with strong follow-up and time management skills

California Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain
