Incident Management Investigator

Venture Together, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer residential, day, community habilitation, respite and employment services, an equestrian program as well as an integrated summer camp. EOEAGENCY REQUIREMENTSSuccessfully participate in Orientation and pass all required testing. All staff must embrace the philosophies Venture Together adheres to, including Person Centered Planning and the DSP Core Competencies.Incident Management InvestigatorJOB SUMMARY The Incident Management Investigator is responsible for conducting objective, thorough, and timely investigations of reportable incidents involving individuals receiving services. The Investigator ensures compliance with New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations, Justice Center requirements, agency policies, and applicable federal and state laws. The position contributes to the agency’s Incident Management Program by identifying trends, recommending corrective actions, conducting training, and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of individuals receiving services.The Incident Management Investigator reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and Incident Management.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience providing services to people with Developmental Disabilities and familiarity with OPWDD regulations preferred.

  • Experience conducting investigations and preparing investigative reports preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills are required.

Salary Range: $62,000-$68,000

Location: Nanuet, NY

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
