Full job description

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead.

At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.

As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.

Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role As a Solutions Architect at Veeva, you will sit at the very heart of enterprise software innovation. Rather than implementing third-party platforms, you will own the solution design and technical configuration directly for the product creator.

You will provide application consulting services for the Veeva Commercial Cloud product suite, primarily on the Vault PromoMats and Vault MedComms applications used by Veeva’s Life Science/Pharma customers. Our purpose is to be our customers’ trusted partners in application configuration and architecture to ensure that they leverage the additional value Veeva applications offer. You will identify customer requirements, perform configuration changes to the system, activate new product features and act as an advising partner to our customers system administrators.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the lead system administrator for client Vaults, managing hands-on configurations including lifecycles, complex workflows, document types, fields, security profiles, and page layouts
  • Understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements
  • Lead complex data operations, including bulk content imports/exports, data migrations, and the troubleshooting of multi-channel digital asset structures
  • Act as a high-impact trusted advisor to clients, proactively driving them towards Veeva and industry best practices
  • Build advanced analytical reports and operational dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Work directly alongside internal R&D and Product Management teams. Get advance visibility into upcoming platform updates, participate in exclusive internal enablement programs, and master new features long before they hit the market

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with configuring and implementing software solutions (e.g., Salesforce CRM, IQVIA OCE, Inception CRM, Microsoft D365, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms)
  • Experience working in a customer-facing and/or IT consulting role and managing customer expectations
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL practices (e.g., system releases and change management)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Qualified candidates must be based in Hungary and legally eligible to work in the country. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position

Nice to Have

  • Experience with one of the following Content Management Systems: Veeva PromoMats/MedComms, SharePoint, Zinc MAPS, Documentum, or other similar
  • Knowledge and applicable work experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry

Interviewing with Veeva We value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process. Here is the process you can expect.

  • Follow the application process and submit your resume.

  • Within 3 days, you will receive a link to a personality assessment administered by a third party.

  • Once you complete the assessment, our team will review your full application package and follow up via email with our decision.

  • If moving to the interview stage, the process is as follows: • A conversation with the hiring manager

  • A practical case exercise

  • A final conversation with our group's Senior Leader.

  • Once all interviews are complete, the manager will be in touch with a final decision.
