Location: Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Geisinger is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist for a 100% remote daytime Emergency Radiology position. Join an established team providing emergency, trauma, and acute-care imaging services for hospitals across Pennsylvania. Job Duties: Opportunity Highlights

  • Fully remote emergency radiology and teleradiology practice with a Geisinger-supported home reading workstation

  • Predictable eight-days-on / 12-days-off daytime schedule

  • Efficient shift handoff designed to support on-time completion

Clinical Practice

  • Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiography examinations

  • Read a broad emergency imaging case mix across body imaging, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and chest imaging

  • Support emergency departments and Level I, II, and IV trauma centers across nine main hospitals

  • Participate in acute stroke, trauma, and other time-sensitive imaging workflows

  • Collaborate with subspecialty radiologists through established consultation and communication resources

  • Teach radiology residents within an academic environment

Remote Practice and Professional Opportunities

Position Details: Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting salary of $450,000, commensurate with experience

  • $90,000 starting bonus

  • $4,500 annual CME allowance

  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage from day one

  • Malpractice coverage with tail coverage provided

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

  • Fellowship training preferred but not required

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Emergency or trauma radiology experience is not required

  • Eligible for Pennsylvania and home-state medical licensure

  • Commitment to high-quality emergency imaging and collaborative remote practice
