Facilities Maintenance CTT Instructor

$62,353 per year | Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM | Saturday & Sunday Off

As a Facilities Maintenance Career Technical Training (CTT) Instructor, you'll teach valuable trade skills while mentoring students as they prepare for rewarding careers in facilities maintenance, building operations, and skilled trades.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver hands-on instruction in facilities maintenance and building systems

  • Prepare students to earn industry-recognized certifications and complete Career Technical Training

  • Teach practical skills that lead to employment or advanced training opportunities

  • Develop individualized student achievement plans and provide ongoing mentorship

  • Connect students with employment opportunities and assist with graduate placement

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging shop/classroom environment

  • Reinforce workplace professionalism, safety standards, and Career Success Standards

  • Collaborate with instructors and support staff to promote student success and retention

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of one year of teaching or related industry experience

  • Certified, licensed, or accredited in the applicable trade (or accredited by a professional trade organization)

  • Previous Job Corps experience preferred

  • Valid driver's license required and must meet company insurability requirements

  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

  • Ability to safely demonstrate trade techniques and lift up to 40 pounds, depending on the trade
