Full job description

Join Vylor—Powering the Future of Agriculture

At Vylor, we’re advancing agriculture through breakthrough science—combining elite germplasm, cutting-edge biotech, and next-generation expertise in gene editing and molecular breeding. Our portfolio includes trusted industry brands like Pioneer®, Brevant®, and Hoegemeyer®, delivering performance farmers rely on.

Join us to help scale innovation globally and shape what’s next in crop science.

Who are we and what do we do?

Corteva Agriscience intends to separate into two independent companies on or about October 1, 2026. It is Corteva’s current intention that this position will align with the Seed Company, Vylor , at the time of the intended separation.

The Vylor innovation engine will be anchored in the agriculture industry’s most elite germplasm and transformative biotech. The company will leverage its next generation scientific expertise in disciplines like gene editing and molecular breeding to further strengthen its core business while exploring opportunities to expand to new row crops – and potentially beyond. Vylor will scale these innovations using its leading routes-to-market and by significantly expanding its licensing business.

The Director, ERP Platform Leader is accountable for leading and operating the enterprise ERP platforms as a core strategic technology within Integrated Enterprise Systems (IES). This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of ERP, including strategy execution, architecture, product lifecycle management, and global platform operations. ERP is treated as an enterprise platform, not a project or single domain system, supporting multiple domains across the business.

This role is expected to operate independently, owning the day-to-day leadership, decisions, and outcomes of the ERP platforms while partnering with Core Technology and broader IES leadership on overall strategy.

This role includes full accountability for building, developing, and leading a global ERP organization, including talent strategy, succession planning, and capability development to support long term enterprise needs.

The role reports to the Core Technology and Foundational Infrastructure Leader.

How does an ERP Leader Work

  • Through Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong and credible relationships across peer leaders, executive leadership, and the broader Vylor organization.

  • Harmonizes Business Needs and IT Strategies: Ensures a secure and differentiating employee or customer experience remains central and aligns business capabilities to supporting technology products and services.

  • Enables a High-Quality Platform Portfolio: Drives value realization across ERP products, services, interactions, assets, and capabilities as defined by business outcomes and investment cases.

  • Monitors Platform Health: Regularly reviews metrics, service levels, and performance indicators to ensure resiliency, reliability, and productivity across the ERP platform.

  • Executive Presence and Decision Making: Communicates complex tradeoffs clearly and makes durable decisions in ambiguous, cross domain environments.

  • Organizational Leadership: Builds and develops strong, global teams and establishes clear accountability, performance expectations, and operating rhythm.

  • Platform Ownership with Domain Partnership: Domains define outcomes and requirements while the platform enforces standards, reuse, and architectural integrity.

  • Enterprise Decision Leadership: Leads ERP decisions across platform direction, core versus extension design, and investment sequencing and ensures decisions are not relitigated.

What are the ERP Leader’s Skills and Behaviors

  • Technology IQ: Continually builds knowledge of leading and emerging technologies related to ERP and enterprise platforms and participates in industry peer groups.

  • Business IQ: Develops deep understanding of business domains and how they operate within Vylor.

  • Powerful Communicator: Clearly conveys risks, tradeoffs, and value to technical and business stakeholders.

  • Effective IT Partnership Management: Manages strategic partners, managed services, and third-party providers to deliver outcomes.

  • Stays Curious: Understands Vylor strategic and operational challenges and adapts platform direction accordingly.

  • Supports Common Ways of Working: Promotes best practices, innovation, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Global Leadership Capability: Ability to lead distributed teams across regions, cultures, and time zones while maintaining alignment, accountability, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!

  • Lead and operate the ERP platform across strategy execution, product lifecycle management, and day-to-day operations.

  • Serve as the primary ERP leader in enterprise governance forums, representing platform direction, priorities, and tradeoffs, including serving as the competency leader for all ERP platforms and related services.

  • Own end-to-end ERP product lifecycle management, including roadmap, value realization, financials, and lifecycle optimization.

  • Define and execute the ERP roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities and deliver measurable outcomes tied to value realization.

  • Establish and enforce standards across ERP core, extensions, and integrations, ensuring long term platform integrity.

  • Lead ERP platform operations and transformation across a global, multi region environment, ensuring alignment across geographies, regulatory requirements, and business practices.

  • Lead platform rationalization and consolidation across core platforms including SAP ECC & S4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and others.

  • Oversee ERP implementation, upgrades, and ongoing operations to ensure continuity, performance, and scalability.

  • Ensure ERP meets enterprise expectations for security, availability, performance, and data integrity.

  • Enable business transformation through ERP by leveraging analytics, AI, and modern integration patterns.

  • Operate ERP as a lean core, extensible edge platform, protecting long term flexibility and cost structure.

  • In partnership with Domain Leaders, drive ERP enabled business process standardization across Record to Report, Order to Cash, Plan to Produce and other critical value chain components.

  • Establish governance for ERP prioritization, funding, and sequencing decisions.

  • Partner with business domains to translate outcomes into scalable platform capabilities.

  • Ensure seamless integration with data, AI, engineering, and adjacent enterprise platforms.

  • Lead ERP master data governance and alignment to the enterprise data model.

  • Manage ERP vendors, system integrators, and strategic ecosystem partners.

  • Maintain strong, strategic partnerships with ERP and technology suppliers.

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, FDA and SOX requirements, and regulatory standards and participate in audits as required.

  • Build, lead, and develop a highly performing global ERP organization including platform component owners, architects, engineers, and functional experts, with accountability for talent strategy, succession planning, capability development, and performance management.

  • Establish strong connections across IT teams with deep understanding of dependencies between infrastructure, security, and enterprise applications.

  • Drive operational excellence through standardized practices, continuous improvement, and performance discipline.

Education and Experience – What you will bring to the table!

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

  • 12 to 15 years ERP experience.

  • 7 plus years in more senior leadership roles.

  • Experience operating ERP at global enterprise scale.

  • Experience leading globally staffed ERP teams.

  • Experience leading ERP transformations including conducting platform rationalization and then driving the execution to achieve the defined outcomes.

  • Deep experience with SAP S4HANA as a primary ERP platform including cloud-based and on-premise ecosystems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Oracle ERP is a strong plus.

  • Experience operating within a lean core, extensible edge ERP architecture.

  • Familiarity with AI, analytics, and advanced integration patterns.

  • Experience with enterprise data governance and master data.

  • Experience in regulated environments including SOX.

  • Product lifecycle experience.

  • Certifications in SAP, Agile, or ITIL.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Experience in product and platform models.

  • Ability to lead in matrixed organizations.

This is a director-level leadership role responsible for running one of the company’s most critical enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate brings the experience, judgment, and leadership maturity to operate the ERP platform effectively at scale while partnering on strategic direction.
