Full job description

Employment Type: Full time Shift:

Description: Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

  • Collect meal orders, prepares, assembles, and serves food according to dietary guidelines and quality standards
  • Handles more advanced prep and ensures items meet production tallies and deadlines
  • Coordinates with cooks, supervisors, and clinical staff on food quality and equipment
  • Rotates and replenishes floor stock, food supplies, and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste
  • Cleans dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues
  • Operates basic kitchen tools, cleans, and maintains equipment according to safety protocols
  • Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards
  • Operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash transactions accurately

Minimum Qualifications

Serve Safe Certification or within 6mo. of hire. Food Handlers Certification in line with state requirements, or within 6 mo. of hire. Diet competency certification or within 6 mo. Of hire.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 year of customer service
