Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to support the modernization and ongoing enhancement of ADP's Workforce Now (WFN) NextGen payroll platform. This individual will play a critical role in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, improving cloud-native application delivery, monitoring production systems, and strengthening disaster recovery capabilities within an AWS and Kubernetes environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong Python development skills, hands-on experience managing end-to-end CI/CD processes, exposure to AI-assisted development tools and workflows, and expertise operating applications in AWS/EKS environments. This role will partner closely with software engineers, platform teams, and product stakeholders to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements

-5-8 years of DevOps Engineering experience

-Strong hands-on experience coding in Python

-Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines end-to-end

-Experience supporting applications in AWS cloud environments

-Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and containerized applications

-Familiarity with AI-assisted coding platforms such as Claude, Amazon Q or CoPilot -Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

-Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or comparable pipeline technologies
