Responsible for managing the overall operation of the facilities and grounds. This position ensures the maintenance of a clean, attractive, and functional facility for patients, visitors, and staff. Additionally, this role oversees routine tasks and activities, requiring skills obtained through prior work experience and vocational, certification, or technical education. In addition, this position follows standardized procedures and practices, receiving regular but moderate supervision and guidance. Ensures the quality of work performed impacts the team positively and adheres to clearly defined procedures.

  • Adheres to all principles of Safety and Risk Management programs and policies. Initiates preventative maintenance procedures based on owner’s recommendations for all equipment.

  • Administers and ensures compliance with policies and procedures involving the daily operation of facilities.

  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency codes and standards, including federal, state, local, and healthcare.

  • Manages, schedules, and assigns duties to all facilities and grounds employees. Coordinates with other departments to schedule maintenance, repairs, and special projects or activities.

  • Maintains PM inspections and ensures they are completed on time.

  • Works with the Operations Supervisor and Manager to plan, coordinate, and complete all construction, renovations, and special projects.

  • Ensures high-quality project completion with minimal disruption to patient care. Assesses the scope of major repairs, daily activities, and construction for impact on patient care.

  • Coordinates with the Operations Supervisor, Manager, Director, and Administration to ensure a safe environment.

  • Maintains a complete understanding of and ensures compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 4+ years experience [Required]

Pay Range:

$19.22 - $35.75 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
