Research Associate I, CFPS Production

BigHat Biosciences is hiring a Research Associate I, CFPS Production. BigHat Biosciences seeks a self-motivated Research Associate to manufacture, validate, and execute experiments developing cell‑free protein synthesis reagents for its high‑throughput antibody screening platform, handling buffer preparation, equipment maintenance, and detailed documentation while communicating results to the team.

Key focus areas include Manufacture and validate CFPS reagents, including buffers and media, for high‑throughput antibody screening, Maintain CFPS manufacturing equipment such as incubators, centrifuges, and homogenizers, and Coordinate with lab ops to request and order supplies ensuring reliable stock.

Successful candidates bring B.S. In Biochemistry, B.S. In Molecular Biology, and B.S. In Related Field. Important skills include Making Buffers, Media For Biomass Production, Performing QC Experiments, Coordinating With Lab Ops Team, Detailed Record Keeping, and Clearly Communicate Results. Preferred (not required): CFPS Reagent Manufacturing, CFPS Reagent Validation, Designing Experiments, and Running Experiments.
