Overview

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  • Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients.

  • 12-hour shifts

  • Mostly day / evening (7a-7p) shift hours

  • 4 weekend shifts per 4-week blocks

  • 3 holidays per year

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing (ACNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant

  • At least 2 years of APP experience required

Licensure/Certification Requirements

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72-$78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
