Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Slitter Machine Operator:

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to work orders and production schedules

• Load material rolls into the machine and remove finished products

• Read and follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements

• Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications

• Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools

• Inspect finished products for defects, proper dimensions, and overall quality

• Complete production reports, quality documentation, and inventory records

• Perform routine equipment checks and basic machine maintenance

• Report equipment problems, material issues, or quality concerns to a supervisor

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies

• Assist in other production areas as needed

Available Shifts:

Shift timings- 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred

• Slitter machine experience is a plus

• Ability to read work orders, measurements, and production specifications

• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to use precision measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials as required

• Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

• Forklift, hoist, or overhead crane experience may be required
