Job Details:
MAINTENANCE:
- This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Applicants will be considered for any industrial maintenance opening on any shift, such as day, night or overnight shift as well as overtime and weekends if required.
- Industrial Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
- Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor as well as confirm time into the SAP system to record daily activities and create equipment history.
- Must have the ability to work independently. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of up to 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
- Successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in at least one of the following: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting, Hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC control wiring, Motor control, 3-phase wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic Systems, and read and understand blueprints.
- You must have three months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for these positions.
- All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S. and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of a post-offer health assessment.
