D2624 – BFD Maintenance Technician; 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Salary Range:

Starting Pay Rate: $26.50

Description:

The Maintenance Technician provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective troubleshooting and repair of systems comprised of PLCs, motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers, and industrial mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include automated equipment setup, teardown, and sprockets. The use of shop machinery and normal industrial tools for repair purposes supports the fulfillment of these responsibilities.

•Understand and support the Philosophies of Bama described in the Bama Manual •Understand your role in integrating and executing the 4 strategic objectives of Bama: Customers are wildly important, People are wildly important, Business Improvement, and Smart Fun Growth •Understand and commit to "act like an owner" to take action to achieve overall success of the entire enterprise •Engage in Courageous Conversations for improvement of the organization •Written and oral communication with your shift leader, other Maintenance shift crews and between Operations / QA and Warehouse co-workers to ensure effective communication. •Carry out work plans for maintenance needs and coordinate appropriately with Operations and QA. Identify additional needs for input into, or adjustment to, current and future work plans. •Excellent troubleshooting skills. •Participate in providing technical support to the Emergency Response Team for their shift including the provision of facility knowledge, drawings, plans, and their interpretation should the ne arise. •Critical thinking skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be proficient in at least 5 of the following areas and have basic knowledge of the others: •Automated equipment setup, teardown and repair •PLC troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of motor controls, general industrial wiring and hardware, and electrical troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of AC inverters, DC controllers and servers •Strong electrical skill set •Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems
