Location: Bedford, OH (Onsite)
Pay: $45.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-3:45 PM
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Length: 39 Weeks
Start Date: August 19, 2026

Autism Unit (1 Opening)

Support students across a wide range of autism spectrum needs

Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support
Emotional Disturbance (ED) Unit (2 Openings)

Self-contained classroom

Focus on relationship-building, social-emotional development, and positive behavior strategies

Support students in developing appropriate classroom and social behaviors
Multiple Disabilities (MD) Unit (1 Opening)

Self-contained classroom
-
Serve students with significant physical and cognitive disabilities

May include supporting students who utilize wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
-
Develop and implement individualized educational programming
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
-
Maintain student documentation and progress monitoring records
-
Support academic, behavioral, communication, and functional skill development
-
Implement accommodations and modifications based on student needs

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Required Qualifications
-
Valid state teaching certification as required by district and state regulations
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Compliance with applicable professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification, if required
-
TB screening, PPD, or chest x-ray, if required
-
Current health certificate, if required by state or district regulations
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Minimum one year of teaching experience

Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification

Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement
