About the Role We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic .NET Developer Intern who is eager to learn, build, and contribute to real-world applications. As part of the Engineering team, you will work closely with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server, and cloud technologies . This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in backend or full-stack development and want to begin their career in a fast-paced product-based environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
- Support the development and integration of RESTful Web APIs
- Understand API request/response flows and backend application logic
- Work with SQL Server to perform CRUD operations and manage application data
- Write and optimize basic SQL queries, including SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and JOIN
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and documentation guidelines
- Support application testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Web APIs and HTTP request/response concepts
- Knowledge of basic Git commands and version-control practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Exposure to Entity Framework Core
- Awareness of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Basic understanding of application hosting and deployment concepts
- Academic, internship, or personal projects developed using .NET technologies Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in backend or full-stack development
