Full job description

WELDER- HIRING IMMEDIATELY- WEEKLY PAY

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $27/hour

Hours: Full-Time, Various Shifts Available

This role offers the opportunity to perform high-quality MIG welding on a wide variety of metal parts and products in a dedicated weld shop environment. You will complete welds according to work orders and blueprints, prepare and inspect parts, and help maintain efficient production. The position includes hands-on work with both manual and robotic welding stations, with training provided on robotic equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify work in progress using Work Order Cards and sign off operations as complete.

  • Complete required welds based on the work list and production priorities.

  • Perform MIG welding on metal parts, including the ability to weld 1 to 1.5 inch steel.

  • Tack and weld a wide variety of metal parts and products as directed.

  • Carry out parts preparation, including scraping, sanding, and grinding.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience.

  • Proficiency in welding 1 to 1.5 inch steel.

  • Hands-on experience with MIG welding processes and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with robotic welding stations is an advantage; training is available for candidates without prior robotics experience.

  • Fabrication and working with stainless steel is beneficial.

  • Lead or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

  • Comfort working with department systems and fabrication-related equipment.

  • Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting production and quality expectations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
