Job Description Pay Range: $25.65 – $28.25

Duties:

Must have a complete understanding and working knowledge of 110, 240, 480-volt AC motor and DC drive system. Must be able to read and work off schematics. Be able to use all electrical hand tools. Be able to estimate and design basic electrical systems. Be able to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in the plant. Be willing to perform any/all other duties to maintain the welfare of the plant. Be able to install/replace conduit. Skills in the following will be needed to assist in projects: Welding, Hydraulics, Power Transmissions, Pneumatics, Fabrication, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Mechanical Layout and Plumbing. Other duties as delegated by management such as welding, cutting, equipment removal and installation, structural fabrication, pipe fitting, heavy equipment set up. Ability to use various electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment to include operation of cranes and lifts. Must have suitable knowledge of removal, installation, and setup of rendering equipment, to include but not limited to conveyors, pumps, cookers, hydrolyzers, presses, power transmission components, steam traps, ramps, catwalks and piping. All other duties assigned by Supervision. Must have a good working knowledge of all OSHA, NEC Codes and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures. Must be able to figure and calculate wire and pipe sizes. Must be able to line up pipe runs. Must be able to calculate estimated completion times. Must have the ability to weld, use cutting tools such as cutting torch, plasma cutter, grinders, etc. Must have the ability to perform basic electrical work and use basic electrical tools including a digital multi-meter, wire/unwire 3 phase motors, basic single-phase terminations etc. Must have the ability to operate heavy industrial equipment such as crane, boom lift, scissor lift, telehandler, forklift etc. Must have fabrication experience to build catwalks, handrails, transitions, equipment supports etc. Must have rigging experience/certifications. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally.

Requirements: Electrician Maintenance EC01 – EC08

  • 1 plus year of accumulative electrical or industrial maintenance or millwright experience required. Must have a good working knowledge of all OSHA, NEC Codes and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures

Successful Candidates must:

Be able and willing to work weekends, and any/all other hours as needed to complete the project.

Be able to t ravel , which will be required to complete jobs at other facilities.

B e able to work more than 12 hours if needed.
