Summary
PD is looking for a quality- and safety-driven Brake Press Operator to support the performance and flow of our manufacturing operations. This role is essential to ensuring precision, efficiency, and on-time production while maintaining a clean, organized, and high-performing shop environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You bring strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work efficiently to keep production moving. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment and are willing to put in extra time when needed to meet demand.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate brake press equipment
Perform all tasks with a strong focus on safety
Ensure daily production is completed on time and meets quality standards
Inspect parts and document accuracy to meet all required criteria
Perform routine equipment maintenance as recommended
Support production needs across departments as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Performs other duties as assigned
Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment

Excellent blueprint reading capabilities
Excellent shop math skills

Welding skills a plus
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma or GED
Prefer 2-year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience Required
5+ years’ experience operating Brake Press equipment
