Full job description

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pack, unpack, and stock inventory in warehouse.

• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate and report any discrepancies of inventory before adjusting errors found.

• Print address labels on UPS Worldship

• Properly package supplies for shipments on a daily basis.

• Print requisition forms on a daily basis.

• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.

• Clean and maintain warehouse and supplies in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors in a timely manner to obtain appropriate credit.

• Check on a consistent basis on areas of need around the building (repairs).

• Fulfill assignments given on a daily basis per the ticketing program (Issuetrak).

• Reconciliation of the purchase orders.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of laboratory and office supplies.

• Minor repairs.

• Assemble furniture.

• Travel to different locations such as drop-sites, storage, hardware stores etc. on an as needed basis.

  REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse setting.

• Must pose excellent verbal and written skills.

• Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.

• Some computer knowledge required.

• Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment.

• Display a professional manner at all times.

• Work efficiently under minimal supervision.

• Adaptable to changes in assignments and training.

• Work efficiently within the team environment in all departments.

• Adhere to all company regulations stated in the company hand book.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
