Benefits Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to support employee benefits administration for a manufacturing organization in Bayport, Minnesota. This is a Long-term Contract position focused on analyzing benefit programs, coordinating with external insurance partners, and helping ensure accurate, responsive support for employees and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in benefits operations, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage benefit-related processes with consistency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a comprehensive Benefits Dependent Eligibility Audit.

• Develop and execute employee communication strategies, including written and verbal messaging, to support audit awareness and participation.

• Oversee audit implementation beginning in late October, ensuring timely completion of all activities.

• Partner with leaders and managers to obtain missing dependent information and support employee compliance.

• Serve as a key liaison between employees, leadership, and an external benefits vendor throughout the audit process.

• Monitor audit progress, address employee questions, and facilitate issue resolution to ensure a smooth and successful audit experience.

• Support change management efforts by promoting clear communication, transparency, and employee engagement throughout the process.

Requirements • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, benefits analysis, or a closely related compensation and benefits role.

• Working knowledge of core benefit functions, including enrollment coordination, eligibility review, and employee support.

• Experience collaborating with third-party insurance carriers, brokers, or benefits vendors.

• Familiarity with dependent care flexible spending account (FSA) administration and related employee servicing.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify issues, and support accurate benefits processing.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
