Machine Sanitation Technician – Midday Shift with Mondays & Tuesdays Off

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 12:00pm–8:00pm

Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire (TTH)

We’re actively hiring a Machine Sanitation Technician – Midday Shift for our client, a growing and fast-paced food manufacturing operation in York county. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team committed to quality, safety, and sustainability . They have a solid appreciation for tenacity and good ol’ Maine grit. This position pays $20/hr and is temp-to-hire , offering long-term potential for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on sanitation and equipment-focused role where you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, safely, and ensuring delivery of a quality product – making this perfect for someone who enjoys working with machinery and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Typical daily duties:

  • Clean and sanitize bakery production equipment following SQF and food safety standards

  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning and inspection

  • Support general sanitation efforts while standing for the full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs (25 lbs most common)

What we’re looking for:

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around industrial equipment

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety

  • Able to work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors and team members

  • Willingness to learn equipment teardown and sanitation procedures

  • Prior sanitation, maintenance, manufacturing, or food production experience preferred (not required)
