Job Summary:

NEOTech in Westborough, MA is looking for help in the Labeling Dept.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reading work instructions and kitting paperwork to determine labeling requirements per customer requirements.

  • Utilize labeling software and quality system database.

  • Follow work instructions for the physical labeling of customer product.

Must have computer experience and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Keen attention to detail and high accuracy are critical in this role.

Person hired for this role will cross-train in various Stockroom functions as necessary. Description of the additional functions are listed below.

Accurately transact and physically move electronic components to and from the Stockroom. Maintain an accurate accounting of inventory within the Stockroom. Locate stock and deliver items to their destination based upon customer requirements. Complete component preparation prior to kit release.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Kit material in accordance with Company/Customer specifications and procedures.

  • Adhere to all electro-static discharge (ESD) requirements for components and printed circuit boards (PCB’s).

  • Follow moisture sensitive device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).

  • Verify correct part numbers in kit and load list program.

  • Enter inventory transactions into ERP system.

  • Load (SMT setup) and unload feeders (SMT Teardown) for surface mount machines using the provided load list.

  • Utilize a digital voltage multi-meter (DVM) to read component values and document values on SMT load sheets.

  • Use of various hand tools, including but not limited to pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, tape measures/rulers, box cutters, tape guns.

  • Work with electronic components that may require visual magnification.

  • Utilize reel counter for counting of components on reels for kit picking and return of inventory from production floor (teardown/countback).

  • Read and follow work instructions. Use systems to produce labels for inventory quantity and location as well as load list parts placement.

  • Support production floor by filling parts requisitions, kit shortages, service order requests. Move daily receiving inventory to Stockroom locations.

  • Ensure that all documents (inventory transaction forms, pick lists, load lists, receiving travelers, cycle count forms, etc.) are properly filled out.

  • Support daily cycle count activities.

  • Participate in physical inventory preparations, location counts, inventory accuracy projects.

  • Identify inventory issues and resolve as needed. Seek assistance from Supervisor or Lead when necessary.

  • Support and follow all ISO standards related to the NEOTech Quality Management System. These systems include quality, the environment, health, safety and security.

  • Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.

  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

  • Ability to read and interpret kit sheets, load lists, work instructions, inventory transaction documents, cycle count forms.

  • Utilize Company computer systems to enter transactions.

  • Pass IPC-A-610 Module 1.
