Job Summary

Expand Energy's affiliate, Compass Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Welder II - ASME Code Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of ASME code pressure vessels and related equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels and related components
  • Produce code-compliant vessels that meet quality and production requirements
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fellow fabricators to meet production goals
  • Demonstrated experience welding ASME code pressure vessels

Job Specific Skills

  • Intermediate ability to perform basic welding techniques
  • Intermediate abilityto read and understand blueprints
  • Intermediate ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
  • Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 6 - 9 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pressure vessel manufacturing, required
  • Ability to pass multiple ASME welding qualification tests
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE

Schedule

Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM - some overtime may be required based on production demands
