Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of hot food items, including entrées, vegetables, soups, sauces, and other menu selections.

  • Ensure meals are prepared accurately, attractively, and ready for timely service.

  • Follow standardized recipes and production guidelines to maintain quality and consistency.

  • Safely handle, store, and rotate food while following food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Monitor and document food and equipment temperatures to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen and production area.

  • Assist with inventory, food production planning, portioning, and minimizing food waste.

  • Inspect and safely operate kitchen equipment, reporting maintenance concerns as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service and support departmental goals.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Education or Equivalent required.

Experience:

  • At least o ne year of cooking or food service experience and the ability to perform at the cook’s level within six months
