We are seeking a detail orientated and dependable Homemaker Companion to join our Home Care team!

The Homemaker/Companion assists clients with a wide variety of household and client specific duties. They carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: client safety, companionship, running errands, cleaning/housekeeping and preparing meals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise staff in group homes
-
Ensure safety, quality care, and person-centered services for residents
-
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations
-
Train, mentor, and develop team members
-
Assist with daily living activities and medication administration
-
Manage staffing schedules and respond to emergencies or incidents
-
Communicate with families, guardians, and care teams
-
Oversee household operations, budgets, and required documentation
-
Participate in on-call rotations and fill in as needed
EDUCATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
-
Must be at least 18 years of age.
-
Must possess a valid WI driver’s license, and ability to meet agency driving standards.
-
Must provide proof of auto insurance.
-
Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
