Direct Support Professional (DSP):

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll provide hands-on care, guidance, and encouragement to adults with autism in a residential home setting. Every day is different, and every day gives you the chance to make a lasting difference.

In this role, you will:

  • Support residents with daily living skills and personal care

  • Assist with medication administration and health-related needs

  • Help create structure, routine, and a positive home environment

  • Encourage independence, communication, and community engagement

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and your team

  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the residential home

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (diploma/transcripts required)

  • Must be at least 20 years old

  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to interact respectfully and professionally with individuals with autism

  • Must successfully complete all required background screenings, including:

  • Central Registry

  • DMV check

  • Fingerprinting

  • Drug screening

  • Physical and PPD
