Full job description

Requirements:

  • Must have valid Chauffeur's License (Class D).

  • Minimum 2+ years commercial driving experience, preferably in industrial or construction environments.

  • Must be willing to work 40 hours.

  • Must be able to work overtime/weekends as needed.

  • Must maintain truck/trailer(s) clean, organized and maintain regular maintenance upkeep.

  • Must be able to work in various conditions - heat, cold, uneven surfaces etc.

  • Must work well in team environment.

  • Must adhere to facility safety rules, DOT regulations, and company procedures while operating in high-hazard process areas.

  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately.

  • Follow all refinery safety policies including confined space, hot work, line-of-fire and vehicle safety rules.

  • Participate in refinery-required safety meetings, toolbox talks, and JSA/JHA activities before each task.

  • Must be able to communicate with supervisors, gate/security peronnel for routing and access procedures.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

  • Must pass refinery site access requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles

  • Transportation of tools, equipment, materials as needed between laydown yards, tool rooms, and units

  • Knowledge of load securing procedures in compliance with DOT and company policies
